Fia Fia Night
Experience a Traditional Samoan Evening
When guest numbers permit, Salani's Fia Fia Night brings everyone together for an evening celebrating Samoan food, culture and tradition. The experience may include a traditional Samoan feast, kava ceremony, cultural performances and fire knife dancing.
Fia Fia Night is part of the Salani experience when it is held and is not charged as an additional activity. Because it depends on guest numbers and operating conditions, it cannot be guaranteed for every stay.

We Follow the Conditions
There is no fixed formula for surfing Samoa, and that's part of the experience. Ocean conditions and surf quality change daily. Our team will always do its best to help guests find the best available waves, but nature ultimately determines where and when it is appropriate to surf.
Surf locations, boat access, excursions and other activities may occasionally change because of swell and surf conditions, wind and weather, ocean conditions, safety considerations, operational conditions, availability, and the needs of the group.
What's Not Included
Airport transfers are not included in the Surf Package and can be added separately to your reservation.

Before You Arrive
A Few Important Things to Know
Travel Insurance. Travel insurance covering surfing and adventure activities is strongly recommended. Surfing, ocean swimming, snorkeling and other outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Guests participate at their own discretion and should take their individual abilities and experience into consideration.
Follow Your Guides. Guests must follow instructions provided by Salani resort staff, surf guides and boat crew at all times.
Conditions Can Change. Ocean conditions, weather and surf quality vary from day to day. While we'll always do our best to find the best available experience, surf access and activities can be changed or cancelled when conditions, safety or operational considerations require it.
Salani Is Remote. Salani Surf Resort is located in a remote part of Samoa. Medical services, ATMs, cash withdrawal facilities and other amenities may be more limited than in larger towns and cities.
Payments & Cash. Card payments are accepted at the resort. However, ATM and cash withdrawal facilities are limited on the south coast of Upolu. We recommend bringing sufficient cash for personal expenses and purchases outside the resort.
Respecting Samoa. We ask all guests to respect local customs, village communities, fellow guests and Samoa's natural environment throughout their stay. Full Terms & Conditions are available separately.
